A provenjoining method reliably used for over 50 years, solventcement welding requires no special tools, no costly fusionequipment, and provides a solid, chemically bonded jointfor easy installation, repairs or alterations. Most importantly,solvent cement joints end problems typical of Polypropylenesystem installation, such as mechanical connector pullout,maintenance on elastomer sealed joints, internal fusion wirecorrosion, and cumbersome fusion joining methods.
