neutralization tanksFEATURES• <strong>RHFS</strong> neutralization tanks are designedto dilute and neutralize the harmful wastesthat may be discharged from laboratories,industrial process or any other pollutingsource. Even when harmful wastes aredestined for a chemical treatment plant ormunicipal water treatment facility, thesetanks can still be useful in diluting thepolluted effluent, thereby reducing theburden of treatment placed upon such plantsor facilities.• Installation and location: <strong>RHFS</strong> neutralizationtanks should be installed under a sink orplaced in a lined concrete pit. Access to theremovable cover should be considered forlimestone replacement and maintenance.In installing piping to tank connections,avoid any strain on piping or fittings. Do notsupport tanks by inlet, outlet or vent piping.• All <strong>RHFS</strong> neutralization tanks are cylindricaland are furnished with heavy-gauge, bolddowncover, gasketing and the necessarynuts, bolts and washers. All tanks are pricedand shipped complete with standard inletand outlet fittings as described below. Anyspecial fittings desired may be installed onspecial order.• 7700 Neutralization tanks are molded fromblack, high density Polyethylene resinssuitable for continuous duty to 180°F(intermittent to 212°F). These one-piece,molded and seamless tanks have excellentchemical resistance, as well as outstandingimpact and abrasion-resistance.• 7705 Neutralization tanks are molded fromPolypropylene resin.
