It is the Division’s goal tofacilitate the development and management of parks and facilities for a recreation system that meets the diverse needs ofthe community.• The Public Lands Program under the management of the Parks and Trails Division has completed the Management andRestoration Work Plans for the acquired environmentally sensitive properties. In order to continue to expand passiverecreation opportunities, three of the Public Lands properties are now open daily to the public, while three more are inthe planning phase. The recreational uses of the acquired lands were supported by the Public Lands Acquisition AdvisoryCommittee (PLAAC) and are consistent with the adopted Lake County’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan of 2005. It isthe Division’s goal to promote natural resources and recreational opportunities.F - 114
