"Dwelling Unit" means one or more habitable rooms used for the residentialaccommodation <strong>of</strong> one Family when such rooms contain or provide for the installation <strong>of</strong>only one (1) set <strong>of</strong> cooking facilities and one or more sets <strong>of</strong> sanitary facilities."Dwelling - Apartment" means a Building which contains three or more Dwelling Units witheach Dwelling Unit having its principal access from an entrance or hallway or exteriorwalkway common to the other Dwelling Units."Dwelling - Single Family" means any detached Building consisting <strong>of</strong> one Dwelling Unitcontaining only one kitchen with cooking facilities, which is occupied or intended to beoccupied as the Permanent Residence by one Family only."Dwelling - Townhouse" means a Building which contains three or more Dwelling Units,with each Dwelling Unit having its principal access from a separate exterior entrance."Dwelling - Two Family" means a detached Building consisting <strong>of</strong> two Dwelling Units."Entertainment" means a Commercial Use contained within a Building providingrecreational opportunities to the general public and specifically includes arcades, bowlingalleys, billiard and pool halls, roller rinks, dance halls, Theatres, and similar Uses, butspecifically excludes Adult Theatres.“Escort Service" means a business which:(1) introduces or <strong>of</strong>fers to introduce a person to another person for the purpose <strong>of</strong>providing companionship for a short period <strong>of</strong> time; and(2) charges or otherwise imposes a fee each time that an introduction is made orcompanionship is provided."Exterior Side Lot Line" means a Side Lot Line (<strong>of</strong> a Corner Lot) which forms the boundaryon an abutting Highway."Family" means one or more persons related by blood, marriage, common law, adoption, orfoster parenthood; or not more than four (4) unrelated persons sharing one Dwelling Unit."Floor Area" when used in reference to a floor or a Storey or Building means the entireArea which in plan is enclosed by the interior face <strong>of</strong> the exterior walls <strong>of</strong> the Storey or floorlevel. Floor Area excludes balconies, open decks, unenclosed porches or verandas, andAccessory Buildings. In multiple family residential Buildings, Floor Area excludes the Area<strong>of</strong> the floor or floors <strong>of</strong> any and all portions <strong>of</strong> the Building used or intended to be used forthe parking or movement <strong>of</strong> vehicles, mezzanines, corridors, hallways, landings, foyers,staircases, stairwells, and elevator shafts."Floor Area Ratio" means the figure obtained when the Floor Area <strong>of</strong> all floors (subject toSection 14) in all Buildings on a Parcel is divided by the Area <strong>of</strong> the Parcel.“Floating Home" means a house-like Structure built on a floatation system, intended forUse or being used or occupied as a Dwelling Unit and is not primarily intended for or usablein navigation.PART 1 - 4
