The Maximum departure fromthe vertical or the correct angle of rake shall not exceed 1 in 50.The Contractor shall provide the Board with three copies of the driving record foreach pile, these records shall reach the BOARD's Representative not later than theday following the driving of the relevant pile and shall contain details of thefollowing(a)(b)(c)(d)(e)(f)(g)(h)(i)LocationPile details such as reference number, date of casting, length, anddimensions.Date and time of drivingType, weight and drop-of hammer or equivalent information if other typeof equipment is used.Information on number and thickness of packing used during the drivingof the pile and their condition after removal from the pile head.Number of blows per 300mm over the last 3 meters of penetration.Number of blows per 50 mm over the last 300 mm of penetration.Toe level of pile.Other relevant information as may be required by the Board.If any pile is in any way considered unsatisfactory by the Board, he reserves theright to order the Contractor to remove the pile and/or to install replacement pilesat positions selected by the Board, all at the cost of the Contractor.(4) In-Situ PilesBefore commencing the piling, the Contractor shall submit details of the type andnumber of rigs to be used for in-situ piles.Jetting shall be permitted only with the approval of the Board.The spoil from the pile holes and material remaining from the cutting of piles shallbe removed by the Contractor to a tip to be provided by him.Before pouring concrete into the core, the reinforcement for each pile shall bemade up to form a rigid cage and lowered into the core. Arrangements are to bemade to ensure that the minimum cover to the main reinforcement is 50 mm.
