The biddershall clearly specify the proposed grade of materials of the above components.The bidder shall provide complete system including Demi Water Plant as permanufacturer's recommendation (if required).3.3.2.5 Governor SystemThe gas turbine unit shall be provided with a complete governing system whichshall be capable of maintaining a required constant speed under conditions of loadvariations, control the turbine load, combustion gas temperatures and preventturbine over-speed. The characteristics of the turbine generator unit and itsgovernor shall be such that the machine operates satisfactorily in parallel withexisting generating unit in the system.The speed governing system shall be provided with speed changing devicecapable of local and remote control. Provision shall be made to shutdown theturbine under emergency by local and remote control. The speed regulation shallbe adjustable (from no load to full load) between plus and minus 5 %. The ratedspeed at no load condition shall be adjustable within ±0.5 % for easysynchronising. The governing system for the unit shall also be provided withautomatic over-speed trip devices adjustable up to 110 % of the rated speed, anda load limiter.The governing system shall include an adjustable load limit control, minimum fuelregulator, temperature limit control, temperature increment rate control andnecessary protection equipment.The governing system shall be suitable for parallel operation with a large powersystem and also for completely isolated and independent operation.
