3.0 Power Plant Arrangement3.1 GeneralThe arrangement of the plant equipment shall be generally as described below:Gas Turbine Power Plant with a continuous total net generating capacity of 200MW to 300 MW consisting of 2-6 identical units shall be accommodated in thelocation proposed. Gas Turbines will be converted to combined cycle mode infuture. It is required to keep provision so that one (1) unit of 210 MW of GhorasalPower Plant can be run by the steam generated in the future HRSG(s) usingexhaust from the proposed Gas Turbines.3.2 GuaranteeThe net output and heat rate of the Unit shall be guaranteed by the contractor atthe following conditions:a. Ambient temperature : 95 0 F (35 0 C)b. Site elevation : less than 100 ft(msl)c. Relative humidity : 98%d. Barometric pressure : 1.013 bare. Generation voltage : 11,000 Vf. Power factor : 0.8 lagging to 0.95 leadingg. Frequency : 50 Hzh. Cooling water temperature : 90 0 F (32.2 0 C)The contractor shall guarantee the starting reliability of the Unit including allancillary equipment. The guaranteed reliability shall be stated in the Bid formtogether with the number of consecutive starts to which the Unit will be subjectedto demonstrate this reliability. (This is for a starting reliability of 95 %, the Unitshall be subjected to 20 consecutive starts of which 19 shall be successful) themaximum speed rise after full load rejection is to be guaranteed.3.3 Gas Turbine And Ancillary Equipment3.3.1. Basic Equipment Requirements.The Gas Turbine Generating (GTG) unit shall be of well proven design and theoffered model of GTG unit shall have satisfactory operating experience outsidemanufacturer's country for at least 2 (two) years. Tenderer shall have to submitat least one certificate (must be from outside manufacturer's country) from theend users in this respect. These certificate must be notarized or haveauthentication from the Chamber of Commerce of the Tenderer's country or theEmbassy/High commission of the end user’s country situated in Dhaka. Inabsence of that in Dhaka, authentication from bidder’s Embassy/HighCommission.The extent of supply shall include, but not be limited to, the equipment describedherein.
