The gashandling system including Gas Booster Compressor shall also be provided.NATURAL GAS SUPPLY SYSTEMTo forward the natural gas from the main gas supply header to the gas turbineunit and to adjust its supply pressure to normal operating pressure, theContractor shall furnish one (1) complete factory assembled skid mounted gaspressure regulating unit including all accessories and necessary pipe connectionsto the <strong>BOARD</strong>'s gas supply header for gas turbine unit.Each gas handling unit shall comprise at least the following major items:Gas Booster Compressors (one running and one standby, each having capacity formeeting total gas requirement at all ambient temperatures with 10% margin)with necessary sealing, cooling, anti-surge device, proven control system etc.Inlet strainerA flow meter with bypass system and with integrationPressure gaugesPressure regulating equipmentSafety valve and relief valveA gas conditioner (scrubber, separator and others as required)Other equipment for satisfactory completion of the work.Each unit shall have guaranteed capacity, which matches or exceeds the gasturbine needs under all load operating conditions at site conditions.Specification of natural gas is shown on Appendix (Vol 2 of 3)Ghorasal 200 MW to 300 MW Gas Turbine Peaking Power Plant Project (Vol-2 of 3)28
3.3.2.8 Air Inlet SystemThe air filtration arrangement shall be multi stage (pre-filter and high efficiency).Brief technical specification:a) One filtration unit for compressor air intake of Gas Turbine.b) Flow rate :c) Pressure droop : clean: 38mm water anddirty :76 mm water.d) Filter type :Pre-filter: WashableHigh efficiency filter : Disposablee) Cartridges/each filter :f) Filter media : water resistant, synthetic.The bidder shall supply 1 filter unit for Gas Turbine complete in all respectsincluding necessary supporting structures, holding frames, fasteners, pressureswitches, gauges etc. whichever are necessary. The bidder shall also submitnecessary design documents and drawings for this filtration system.Each air inlet system shall be provided with silencer if required capable of keepingthe sound pressure level as required by environmental regulations whenmeasured at a distance of 100 meter from the plant operating at full load as perISO standard.3.2.2.9 Exhaust SystemThe gas turbine unit shall be equipped with an exhaust duct and a suitable stack(height should meet the environmental protection requirement but not less than30 m). The exhaust system shall have a silencer to reduce the sound level asrequired by environmental regulations when measured at a distance of 100 meterfrom the plant when operating at full load.The duct shall be supplied complete with all necessary expansion joints thermaland acoustic insulation, manholes, drains, supports, bolting and jointing. It shallbe arranged in such a way that normal maintenance can he carried out on anycomponent without dismantling the duct.The Emission levels of exhaust have to be within the limit of environmentalprotection regulations.3.3.2.10 Unit EnclosureExcept as otherwise specified, all equipment shall be enclosed in a minimumnumber of prefabricated metal enclosures.
