c. Ventilation and air conditioningAll rooms shall be provided proper ventilation system. The control room, relayroom, electronics spares store, shall be provided air conditioning system.18.4.2 RAIN WATER LEADERSRain water leaders to be provided according to international norms and standards.18.4.3 AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMThe detail design of air conditioning system for control building shall be based onthe following criteria :Outside temperature: 36 0 CInside temperature: 20 0 CRelative humidity : 60%Type of system: Package air conditioning unitsDesign calculations and drawings shall be submitted to the Boardfor approval prior to commencement of the work.Details of the equipment proposed shall be submitted with the Tender.18.4.4 Ventilation SystemAll rooms in the control building, guard house etc. shall be designed and furnishedproper ventilation system in principle.Unless otherwise specified, natural ventilation will be acceptable for the minorbuildings. All toilets, battery room and shall have exhaust fans of approved made.All fans shall be statically and dynamically balanced to avoid vibration and shallhave blades to secure quiet efficient operation.18.4.5 Plumbing And Sanitary InstallationThe whole of the plumbing works in the buildings shall be provided in accordancewith the relevant bylaws and to the complete satisfaction of the Board. Pipes shallbe connected to each point where water is required, with a minimum head of 2metres at all outlets.All cast iron pipe works and fittings as are necessary for the complete installationof the sanitary system shall be supplied and installed in accordance with therequirement of the local authorities and other standards approved by the Board.18.4.6 LightingThe whole of the power supply and lighting system for the buildings shall bedesigned and installed in accordance with the Section 11.Ghorasal 200 MW to 300 MW Gas Turbine Peaking Power Plant Project (Vol-2 of 3)195
