Performance of painting work shall be as specified in theSection 18.6 of the Specifications.a) Portions to be embedded in concrete or in the soilb) Plated surfaces other than zinc platingc) Concealed zinc plated portionsd) Surfaces treated with special decorative finishese) Surfaces where so indicated by the BoardColour of paint shall be as directed by the Board.(4) Concrete, Plastering and Earth WorkConcrete, reinforcing, plastering and earth work to be executed under this clauseshall be performed according to the applicable provisions of the relevant clausesof the Specifications.17.10.5.2 Drilling, Developing And Testing The Deep-well(1) GeneralThe Contractor shall provide plant, labour, material, equipment and perform alloperations in connection with the drilling, developing, placing of casings and wellscreens, and pumping tests for the deep-well which shall be drilled to a depth asindicated below.(2) DrillingDrilling of the deep-well shall be carried out by an appropriate method mostsuited to the conditions of the deep-well site to be drilled. When necessary,temporary casings shall be used in sections of the hole through over burden orunstable material to prevent the caving-in of the well.
