3. BASIS OF PRICE3.1 Basis of price for this Contract shall be according to the actual service requiredduring a particular period, as mentioned in the scope of work and number ofSupervisors to be provided.3.2 Basis of price for this Contract shall be according to the actual supply of spares/equipment to be required against each service (inspection & overhaul) during aparticular period, as mentioned in the scope of work.3.3 Supervisory Service fee shall include base rate, holiday rate, traveling day rate,overtime rate, air fare, food and any other expenditure whatsoever necessaryshould be included in the man day rate of supervising service fee.3.4 Accommodation of Experts may be provided by the Manager of the Power Stationsite subject to the availability of the same. The rate of such accommodation shallhave to 'be paid by the LTSA provider as per BPDB rules applicable to LTSAprovider /consultant's personnel.4. PROCURING ENTITY'S GENERAL OBLIGATIONS4.1 The Procuring entity shall provide in time any approval, instruction, material, civilworks, access to site or other thing which may be required in relation to theperformance of the LTSA provider's obligations and which is not expressly statedto be the LTSA provider's responsibility.4.2 Procuring entity will assist the LTSA provider to obtain any authorization requiredby any authority in the country of installation to allow the LTSA provider toperform this Contract in due time.These authorizations include: application for import license, performance oftransport, performance of services, labor, temporary import license for tools orother equipment of LTSA provider necessary to perform the Contract or part ofthe contract.5. VARIATIONS5.1 Unless provided otherwise in the Contract, no variation to the Contract may bemade unless agreed in writing by the LTSA provider and the Procuring entity.5.2 If any variation of work increases or reduces the cost of the LTSA provider forperforming the work satisfactorily then the Contract price shall be adjustedaccordingly.5.3 The time for performance of the Contract shall be extended in order to take intoaccount the consequences of any variation.5.4 A variation will not be effective until an agreement on price and delivery isreached6. LTSA PROVIDER'S WARRANTY6.1 LTSA provider warrants to the Procuring entity that the services part of theContract will be performed in a competent manner (International standardpractice or appropriate maintenance guideline).
