Press (‘1 or m, then INTERNAL CARD (so that INTERNAL is underlined).<br />

Press Catalog Internal , CATALOG ALL , <strong>and</strong> then Editor. (You can use one of the other<br />

catalog softkeys instead of CATALOG ALL . For example, you could press CATALOG DLP if<br />

you wanted only the DLPs cataloged.)<br />

Use the large knob on the spectrum analyzer’s front panel to highlight the item that you<br />

want to edit. The user-defined functions, user-defined traces, <strong>and</strong> user-defined variable are<br />

listed by their label, <strong>and</strong> user-defined softkeys are listed by “KEY” followed by the key<br />

number.<br />

Press EDIT CAT ITEM . If there is already some text in the DLP editor, you need to press<br />

EDIT CAT ITEM again to clear the text from the DLP editor’s buffer.<br />

Use the external keyboard keys to edit the cataloged item. Because you are not using an<br />

external computer, the spectrum analyzer comm<strong>and</strong>s are entered without an OUTPUT or<br />

PRINT statement preceding them.<br />

When the catalog item has been edited, press SAVE EDIT. SAVE EDIT executes the DLP<br />

in spectrum analyzer memory, <strong>and</strong> will replace the catalog item. If you do not want to the<br />

changes to the catalog item, press HEW EDIT , NEW EDIT to clear the screen.<br />

You may find it useful to use APND CAT ITEM . APED GAT ITEM appends the catalog item to<br />

the text that is already in the DLP editor.<br />
