field decimal<br />

“Field width” specifies the number of digits displayed, including sign <strong>and</strong> decimal point. (Places<br />

to the right of the decimal point are limited by the decimal places field.) For example, the<br />

number 123.45 has a field width of 7 (even though the sign is not displayed) <strong>and</strong> 2 decimal<br />

places.<br />
