IP Instrument Preset IP also clears all user graphics, all on-event algorithms, and turns off the windows display mode. (The on-event algorithms are ONCYCLE, ONDELAY, ONEOS, ONMKR, ONSRQ, ONSWP, and ONTIME.) Instrument preset automatically occurs when you turn on the spectrum analyzer. IP is a good starting point for many measurement processes. When IP is executed remotely, the spectrum analyzer does not necessarily execute a complete sweep, however. You should execute a take sweep (TS) to ensure that the trace data is valid after an IP. Note that ONPWRUP will be terminated, not erased, by performing one of the following: � Pressing [?Z5Z?-j on the spectrum analyzer. � Executing the universal HP-IB command DCL Device Clear. � Executing the RS-232 command BREAK.
