IP Instrument Preset<br />

IP also clears all user graphics, all on-event algorithms, <strong>and</strong> turns off the windows display<br />

mode. (The on-event algorithms are ONCYCLE, ONDELAY, ONEOS, ONMKR, ONSRQ, ONSWP,<br />

<strong>and</strong> ONTIME.)<br />

Instrument preset automatically occurs when you turn on the spectrum analyzer. IP is a good<br />

starting point for many measurement processes. When IP is executed remotely, the spectrum<br />

analyzer does not necessarily execute a complete sweep, however. You should execute a take<br />

sweep (TS) to ensure that the trace data is valid after an IP.<br />

Note that ONPWRUP will be terminated, not erased, by performing one of the following:<br />

� Pressing [?Z5Z?-j on the spectrum analyzer.<br />

� Executing the universal <strong>HP</strong>-IB comm<strong>and</strong> DCL Device Clear.<br />

� Executing the RS-232 comm<strong>and</strong> BREAK.<br />

To remove ONPWRUP execute the DISPOSE ONPWRUP comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />
