Measurement Off<br />

MEASOFF’ Measurement Off<br />

Turns off the current measurement, erases the display, <strong>and</strong> then displays the MEAS/USER<br />

menu.<br />

Description<br />

If ACPPAR is set to automatic, executing MEASOFF returns the following spectrum analyzer<br />

settings back to their premeasurement settings:<br />

H Frequency span, resolution b<strong>and</strong>width, video b<strong>and</strong>width, center frequency step size, <strong>and</strong><br />

sweep time.<br />

� Detector mode.<br />

� Amplitude scale.<br />

MEASOFF does not do any of the following:<br />

� Change the values of the channel spacing (ACPSP) or the channel b<strong>and</strong>width (ACPBW).<br />

� Restore the trace contents, trigger mode, amplitude units, <strong>and</strong> any trace math functions (see<br />

‘l%ble 5-4 for a list of the trace math functions) to their premeasurement state.<br />

You should execute MEASOFF when you no longer want to use any of the power menu<br />

functions. (The power menu functions are ACP, ACPE, ACPGRAPH, C<strong>HP</strong>, <strong>and</strong> OBW).<br />

MEASOFF may also turn off some other spectrum analyzer measurements. For example,<br />

MEASOFF also turns off FFTCONTS, FFTAUTO, FFTSNGLS, NDBPNT, PCTAM, GDRVUTIL, <strong>and</strong><br />

TOI.<br />
