to Tim. Tim stroked and patted her, not minding<br />
the paint going all over himself. Lollipop soon<br />
calmed down.<br />
‘Farmer Bagwash, would you like me to carry her<br />
back to Hawthorne Cottage and get her cleaned up?’<br />
asked Tim kindly. ‘I'll drop her back at your farm<br />
later on.’<br />
‘Thank you, Tim, I would be most grateful.’<br />
Farmer Bagwash watched Tim walk off with Lollipop<br />
in his arms. ‘Good with animals, that man,’<br />
he thought, as he calmed down.<br />
‘But what about my patio?’ wailed Mrs Whistle-<br />
White. 'Look at it! Just look! It’s gone pink! This is all<br />
your fault Farmer Bagwash for leaping over my fence<br />
like a wild horse, then shouting at poor Tim about<br />
the ladder.’<br />
‘Oh yes! The bloomin’ ladder! Berwooomph! Of<br />
course the bloomin’ ladder! I had completely<br />
forgotten. That man may be good with animals but<br />
I'm sorry to say Mrs Whistle-White he's also a...<br />
berwooomph... thief! That's my bloomin’ ladder he's<br />
got there!’<br />
‘Thief, Farmer Bagwash? Thief! You really are the<br />
most ridiculous man. I found that ladder in my<br />
