Stage Fright!

‘Doth Tiny Tim die?’ whispered Susie.
But Beaky did not hear.
‘Then the most terrifying moment of all comes
when Scrooge falls into his own grave.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!’
Beaky fell to the ground and lay stone still.
No-one said a word.
Suddenly Beaky leapt to her feet and danced
around the room.
‘Church bells ring! Carol singers sing! It’s
Christmas Day and Scrooge wakes up a completely
different man all jolly and so excited he kisses and
hugs everyone!’
Beaky ran round kissing and hugging everyone.
‘He goes round to the Cratchit family and gives
them the most enormous turkey and lots of
presents and promises to pay for Tiny Tim to get
better.’
