They were lively girls with bright red hair, big smiles, freckles and massive front teeth. ‘Hi!’ said Harriet grinning. ‘We've come to join the club. That's if you've got any spaces left.’ ‘Leaping liquorice! What's all that noise?’ asked Hen. ‘Sounds like someone crying! Is it someone from the club?’ ‘’Fraid so,’ said Sophie embarrassed. ‘Leaping liquorice times two!’ said the twins impressed. ‘That's good. Sounds really realistic! Can we join?’ ‘Yes! Great! Sophie led the way up to her bedroom dreading to see the twins’ reaction when they realised it really was someone crying. But when she opened the door there was Susannah-Sue sitting next to Cressida, a big smile on both their faces. Sophie was astonished. How had Cressida managed to cheer up Susannah-Sue so quickly? Even more impressed, Sophie watched her best friend welcome the twins. ‘Welcome to the Daisy Drama Club, Harry and Hen. Do you have any infectious diseases?’ ‘Just freckles,’ said Harry. ‘And goofy teeth,’ added Hen. ‘We can accept freckles and goofy teeth,’ said Cressida. ‘Welcome to the DDC. We hope you will learn lots about drama and dance and acting. Would you like to fill out one of our membership forms? Oh and meet our other member Susie White and King Arthur our royal patron.’ ‘I thought it was Susannah-Sue Whistle-White,’ whispered Sophie to Cressida. ‘It is. But she hates that silly name and put Susie White on her membership form. That's what she wants to be called. I said fine and she was as pleased as punch.
