Stage Fright!

‘It's Uncle Max!’ she shouted and ran outside.
Uncle Max had driven into the yard in his old
yellow banger which was pulling a wobbly trailer,
stacked high with sticks of wood, precariously piled
up and tied on with an old fraying rope.
‘Hello chaps!’ he bellowed at Sophie, as his car
came to an abrupt halt. ‘Is this where the Royal
Shakespeare Company performs?’
Uncle Max was big and hairy. He had an
enormous beard that hid the lower part of
his face, huge, thick rimmed glasses
that hid the middle part of his
face and massive tufts of hair
sticking out all over the place,
springing out from the top
of his head that hid the rest
of his face. Sophie had no
idea what he really looked
like but he was jolly and
fun and more than that,
always full of surprises!
‘Uncle Max! It's not exactly the
Royal Shakespeare Company. Not yet
anyway. What have you got in your trailer?’
‘That jumble is actually a load of mini sized chairs
for you and your fellow actors and actresses. Jolly
