Stage Fright!

‘Turn the lights on John!’ yelled Sophie.
Above all the commotion was the sound of Susie
crying, ‘Help! Help! Real ghothts! Help! Help!’
John, all alone up in the lighting gallery, had felt a
shiver run down the back of his spine when he had
seen the real ghosts appear on stage. He had watched,
mesmerised in horror. Only Sophie's shouting to turn
on the lights had brought him back to his senses.
Trembling he reached for the house light switch and
suddenly the whole of The Barn Theatre was bathed
in glorious, bright white light.
‘Into the house!’ cried Beaky.
