told Farmer Bagwash to come back when he'd
calmed down but he just left muttering how you
couldn't trust anyone these days. It was quite funny
though because just as Farmer Bagwash was leaving
Lollipop bounded up to dad and gave him a big lick
as if she was saying ‘don't worry’!’
‘We've got to get to the bottom of the mystery
though Cress. We’ll think of something.’
‘Funny that our big night is tomorrow night with
THE ACTUAL PERFORMANCE and here we are
talking about ladders and ghosts! I didn't imagine it
to be like this!’
‘No you're right Cress. Come on let's do something
positive about the performance and we might get
some ideas on how to solve our problems. Cressie,
you’re still shivering! Let’s go and
sit in the kitchen. It’s really cosy
in there.’
The girls went downstairs
