Once the twins had got over their surprise at meeting King Arthur and finished chatting with Susie they filled in their forms. Then followed a much better read through of The Revenge of the Raspberry Bun with the twins taking part with great gusto, and even Susie speaking up a little so that Sophie felt a tiny ray of hope that the club could be a success after all. Ten minutes before the end Sophie disappeared, returning with a tray of drinks and two and a half biscuits. ‘Sorry this was all we had,’ she apologised. But two and a half biscuits were much better than no biscuits so the five members of the DDC shared them out and chatted excitedly about plans for the glittering future of the Daisy Drama Club. 22
