Ein experimenteller Kurzfilm über die Mysterien des
Lebens. Der Film beinhaltet vier Teile. Sie sind über
Geburt, Liebe, Leidenschaft und Tod. Als Kunstform ist
Fragments of Life irgendwo an der Schwelle zwischen
Malerei und Kino.
An experimental short film about mysteries of life. The
film contains four parts. They are about birth, love,
passion and death. As an art form, Fragments of Life is
somewhere on the borderline between painting and
cinema.
Anastasia Lobkovski, *1981 in Moscow, Russia. She is
currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Film at
Helsinki Film School (Aalto University School of Art and
Design). She is also studying (MFA) at the Finnish
Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Time and Space.

Ein Kurzfilm über ein Mädchen namens Mei, das durch
die Welt reist und Postkarten an ihren alten Freund Lin
sendet, der Mei seine Augen spendete bevor er starb.
Der Bildschirm ist in zwei Teile gespalten um Meis Reiseerfahrungen
und das Schreiben der Postkarten zu
illustrieren.
A short movie about a girl called Mei who travels
around the world and sends postcards to her old
friend Lin who donated his eyes to Mei before he died.
The screen is divided into two parts to illustrate Mei’s
travel experiences and her writing postcards.
Liangchuan Sun, *1988 in Beijing, China. Has been
studying Design and Technology at Parsons The New
School for Design since 2009.
