Lied aus dem Jahr 1963, live a capella gesungen<br />
von der NY Sängerin April March mit Julien<br />
Gasc. Das Pärchen singt, während es<br />
über einer überlagerten 16mm-Projektion<br />
einer Stop-Motion-Animation einer Reihe<br />
von Wolken, Vögeln, Blasen, Nebelmaschinen<br />
und Glitter fliegt – das Lied ist wie ein<br />
Traum.<br />
Cet Air la is a famous french song from 1963,<br />
sung live by NY singer April March in a cappella<br />
with Julien Gasc. The couple is singing<br />
while flying over a superimposed 16mm projection<br />
of a stop motion animation of a series<br />
of clouds, birds, bubbles, smoke machines<br />
and glitters - the song has the texture of a<br />
dream.<br />
Marie Losier, *1972 in France, is a filmmaker<br />
and curator working in New York City. She has<br />
shown her films and videos at museums, galleries,<br />
biennials and festivals. She studied literature<br />
at the University of Nanterre, France<br />
and Fine Art in New York City. She has made a<br />
number of film portraits on avant-garde directors,<br />
musicians and composers such as<br />
Mike and George Kuchar, Guy Maddin,<br />
Richard Foreman, Tony Conrad and Genesis<br />
P-Orridge.<br />

Dieses experimentelle Musikvideoprojekt basiert auf der Idee,<br />
dass jede einzelne Sprache ihre eigene Musikalität und ihren eigenen<br />
Rhythmus hat. Ein unterteilter Bildschirm, auf dem die<br />
Musik aus den Klängen von Nahaufnahmen von menschlichen<br />
Mündern geformt wird, die die Worte mehrerer verschiedener<br />
europäischer Sprachen buchstabieren. Die Worte erzeugen ein<br />
Rhythmus, der Rhythmus wird zu Musik.<br />
This experimental music video project is based on the idea that<br />
every language has its own musicality and rhythm. A divided<br />
screen where the music builds up from those sounds of closeups<br />
of human mouths spelling words of several different European<br />
languages. The words create a rhythm, the rhythm becomes<br />
music.<br />
Daniel Szöllosi, * 1987 in Budapest. His interest in images and<br />
music always played a big part in his life from a very early age. In<br />
2006, after graduation, he was accepted into the Faculty of Media<br />
Design of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest.<br />
