Eine Untersuchung neuer Erzählmethoden in medienbasierter Kunst; sechs kooperierende Kunstorganisationen<br />
als Forschungsstätte für Innovation.<br />
›Moving Stories‹ ist ein von der Europäischen Union gefördertes internationales Kooperationsprojekt.<br />
Organisationen aus Österreich, Belgien, Frankreich, Deutschland, Italien und Polen werden <strong>2011</strong><br />
sechs neue Kunstwerke präsentieren, die eine ›bewegende‹ Bildgeschichte erzählen. ›Moving Stories‹<br />
ist ein Projekt, das Grenzen überschreitet und neue Horizonte eröffnet, eine Auseinandersetzung mit<br />
narrativen Strategien in der Medienkunst. Die sechs europäischen Partnerorganisationen fungieren<br />
dabei als Laboratorien für Innovation im Bereich Ausstellung und Präsentation. Sechs Künstler wurden<br />
gebeten, sich in ihrer künstlerischen Praxis mit innovativen Strategien im Umgang mit Bewegtbildern<br />
auseinanderzusetzen: in den Kategorien Fiktion oder Dokumentation, basierend auf Fakten<br />
oder Fantasie, linearen oder interaktiven Ansätzen. ›Moving Stories‹ ist eine Wanderausstellung.<br />

An enquiry into new narrative modes in media-based arts six co-operating art organisationsas a laboratory<br />
for innovation.<br />
›Moving Stories‹ is an international co-operation project supported by the European Union. Organisations<br />
from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Poland exhibit six new works of art in <strong>2011</strong>. All<br />
of them recount a moving image story - each in their own way. ›Moving Stories‹ is a project that crosses<br />
borders and opens up new horizons, an inquiry into narrative modes in media art. The six European<br />
partner organisations function as laboratories for innovation in exhibition and presentation. Six<br />
artists were asked to explore new or innovative strategies involving moving images, each in a highly<br />
personal artistic way: along the lines of fiction or documentary, fact or suggestion, linear or interactive<br />
approach. ›Moving Stories‹ is a travelling exhibition.<br />
