Infrastruktur beeinflusst
wird. Guangdong District ist das
größte Stadtgebiet in einer der
reichsten Provinzen Chinas und
eine ihrer Städte, Guangzhou, lockt
viele Bauern aus ländlichen Gegenden
an, die nach Arbeit in einer Fabrik
suchen.
Lighthouse is about the labour system
and the factory town in Southern
China and how individualism is
influenced by the social and political
infrastructure. Guangdong District
is the largest Metropolitan
area in one of China's wealthiest
provinces, and one of its cities,
Guangzhou, attracts farmers from
the countryside looking for factory
work.
Chinese-born media artist Chi Jang
Yin is known for her conceptual
documentary work, which comments
upon the state of Chinese
culture, past and present. She received
her BA and MFA from the
School of the Art Institute of Chicago
in 2000.

Die Bilder sind spezifische Reminiszenzen
an die jüngere deutsche
Geschichte. Die Stimme erweitert
und konterkariert diese Bilder mit
einer Vielzahl von Deutungen. Diese
fiktive Miniatur wird als Dokumentation
von Ereignissen verhandelt,
die so nie stattgefunden haben,
aber ebenso gut hätten passieren
können.
The images visualise specific reminiscences
from recent German history,
while the voiceover extends
and counteracts these images with
a multitude of interpretations. This
›fictitious miniature‹ is treated as
documentation about events which
never took place, but which just as
well could have happened

Alkoholismus, Pornographie
und Popmusik heilen offene Wunden
aus dem eigenen Leben.

place before Christmas on the outskirt
of Prague. One night and the
morning after in the derived lives of
six characters search of their place
in the world of the 21st century.
Drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography
and pop-music curing open
wounds of own lives.
Petr Hatle, *1983 in Prague. After
studying Film Studies at the Faculty
of Arts at the Charles University
in Prague, he has begun to study at
the Prague Film Academy FAMU,
Department of Documentary Directing
and is now in his 4th semester.
He directed the films ›Hiltonleaving‹
(2006) and ›Návštevníci
pevnosti‹/›Visitors of the Fortress‹
(2006) and gained a special award
for the documentary collection of
films of FAMU students at the festival
of Czech films ›Finále Plzen
2008‹.
