Le film esten deux parties, l’un présentant les images d’époque signée Alfons Schilling, l’autre propose unentretien daté de 1997 mené par Barbro Schultz-Lundestam. (GG)On 14 and 23 October 1966, Robert Rauschenberg presented Open Score during nine eveningsof shows celebrating the meeting between ten artists from New York and thirty scientists andengineers from the Bell Telephone laboratories. This open score juxtaposes a series of clearly distinctperformance situations, firstly in two movements and then in three. The film is in two parts, one showingimages of the period by Alfons Schilling, the other presenting an interview conducted by BarbroSchultz-Lundestam in 1997. (GG)Production : E.A.T. Les 21 et 22 octobre 1966, la performance deÖyvind Fahlström, Kisses sweeters than wine lançait ses emprunts à la science, à la science-fiction,à la bande dessinée contre la guerre du Vietnam, tout en parachevant le tout avec le titre d’une célèbrechanson d’amour des années 50. Le document est en deux parties, l’archive filmée et les entretiens.(GG)In the enormous building housing the 69th Armoury Regiment, known for hosting the Armoury Showthat introduced the American public to modern art in 1913, nine consecutive soirées took place underthe auspices of Billy Klüver and Robert Rauschenberg. On 21 and 22 October 1966, the performanceby Öyvind Fahlström, Kisses sweeter than wine presented what he had borrowed from science,science-fiction, and strip cartoons against the Vietnam War, wrapping it all up in the title of a famous1950s love song.
