ZAKLJUČAK<br />

Meso riba ubraja se u hranu visoke prehrambene vrijednosti i lake probavljivosti zbog<br />

svojih bioloških i energijskih osobina. U Republici Hrvatskoj vrlo je niska potrošnja ribljeg<br />

mesa po glavi stanovnika, što je nužno povećati. n-3 PUFA djeluju preventivno<br />

protiv kardiovaskularnih bolesti te pospješuju vid, funkciju memoriranja, sposobnosti<br />

učenja, snižavaju viskoznost krvi, pospješuju brzinu strujanja krvi, snižavaju krvni tlak,<br />

sistolični i dijastolični kod normalne tenzije, reduciraju trigliceride u krvnoj plazmi koji<br />

imaju tendenciju taloženja u krvožilnim stijenkama.<br />
