Seed and forage potential of cowpea (Vignaunguiculata L.Walp) genotypes<br />

Nine cowpea genotypes (two released cultivars and seven lines) were evaluated for forage and<br />

grain yield, some agronomic parameters and quality features at two locations in the Middle Black<br />

Sea region of Turkey for two years. Experiments were established within May and arranged in a<br />

randomized complete block design with 3 replications in both years and locations. Genotypes<br />

were evaluated for plant height, first pod height, branches per plant, main branch diameter, pod<br />

length, seed number per pod, thousand seed weight, seed yield, forage yield and CP, ADF, NDF,<br />
