Effective home visiting brings health to the home and helps trace defaulters and make
referrals. Home visiting is an essential part of a volunteer’s job. Home visiting provides an
opportunity to interact with people and get to know what their health problems are and how
to help solve them. In the process of doing so, the volunteer must be very careful not to lose
the trust of his or her community members.
