Glossary
Accountability act of being responsible for your decisions and actions and expected
to explain them when necessary.
Advocate (Verb) to support something publicly.
Advocate (noun) person who supports somebody or speaks in favour of somebody or
of a public plan or action.
Anecdotal evidence based on hearsay rather than experience or scientific investigation
Attribute quality or feature of something or somebody.
Barriers obstacles, real or imaginary, physical or psychological, that prevent
something from being done.
Brainstorm make a group of people all think about something at the same time,
often in order to solve a problem or to create good ideas.
Campaign a series of planned activities that are intended to achieve a particular
social, commercial, or political aim.
Channels passages through which something goes.
Collaboration work together on an issue.
Communication process of expressing ideas and feelings or giving people information.
Community all people who live in a particular area, country, continent, etc. It also
refers to people who share the same religion, job, race, etc.
Components consisting of part which together make a whole
Conflict a disagreement about how to handle an issue resulting in parties
failing to find an amicable solution.
Delve enquire about, investigate or go into an issue.
Demonstrate show, explain or prove how something works.
Deviant behaviour way of conducting oneself that does not conform to the acceptable
ways of doing things.
Disease an illness affecting humans, animals or plants, often caused by
infection.
Disgruntled discontented or displeased.
Dynamics the relationships of power between the people in a group.
Evaluation the act of forming an opinion of the amount, value or quality of
something after thinking about it carefully or thorough investigation.
