use. Inspect for nicks and cuts,<br />

and replace if damaged. Run<br />

SST to check for leaks when a<br />

new breathing circuit is<br />

installed. Follow circuit<br />

instructions for installation<br />

and cleaning.<br />

Caution<br />

Autoclaving reusable ventilator breathing circuits can<br />

decrease circuit life span, decrease flexibility, and<br />

cause discoloration (yellowing) <strong>of</strong> the tubing.<br />
