Self tests (SST and EST)<br />
If the SST<br />
result is:<br />
<strong>Table</strong> 4-3: Overall SST results<br />
It means: Do this:<br />
SST passed All tests passed. Press ACCEPT to exit SST<br />
or press the alarm reset<br />
key to restart SST from<br />
the beginning.<br />
SST<br />
incomplete<br />
All tests performed were<br />
passed, but some were<br />
skipped. The skipped tests<br />
were passed on a previous<br />
run.<br />
SST fault One or more tests did not<br />
pass. These tests might not<br />
compromise the ventilator’s<br />
ability to ventilate safely,<br />
based on the operator’s<br />
evaluation <strong>of</strong> the situation.<br />
SST failed One or more critical<br />
problems were detected.<br />
Press the alarm reset key<br />
to restart SST from the<br />
beginning or press<br />
MANUAL INSP to override<br />
this result and exit SST.*<br />
Press the alarm reset key<br />
to restart SST from the<br />
beginning or press<br />
MANUAL INSP to override<br />
this result and exit SST.*<br />
Press the alarm reset key to<br />
rerun SST. It is not possible<br />
to exit SST if SST fails. If SST<br />
continues to fail, remove<br />
the ventilator from use and<br />
contact service.<br />
* If you press MANUAL INSP to exit SST, you will be prompted to confirm that you<br />
wish to override the fault or incomplete test. Confirm by pressing MANUAL INSP<br />
again.<br />
