and experience in dreams and witness such experiences undergone
during previous lives. It depends on the activities stamped on the mind
of each one. Or, it might happen sometimes, the person gives up at
one stroke the association with the body and the senses and gets immersed
and lost in his basic principle - the Atman, the higher self. The
bliss that fills the living being is the authenticity of the Atman.
During dreamless sleep, the living being enters and revels in the region
of bliss, led thereto by the splendour of the vital air that elevates.
That region is known as the region of bliss. This is the splendid chance
that man gets effortlessly during sleep, the chance to enjoy the proximity
of the Atman which is the prime source and substance of the five
basic elements, the five senses and the inner instrument of awareness.
But this experience is only temporary. Once a person has gained
awareness through the purification of the mind and the clarification of
the intellect he will experience the constant bliss of merging in Atman.
Only in this way can he become omniscient, eternally in the region of
undecaying, imperishable supreme vastness, the Atman, the all, Brahman.
While he sleeps the living person is immersed in dull ignorance. To the
person who is fully realised however, dreams will afford as much bliss
as the realm of consciousness in the waking state. Even while awake
this person is able to rid himself of the impact of the body, the senses
and reason and is saturated with the bliss of his true reality. The individual
self shares the consciousness of the Universal self in which it is
able to merge. (6-54/56)
This material objective world is what becomes visible to your eyes,
what pleases your senses, what fascinates your minds and what informs
your brains. But in and through this very world, there is one
reachable non-material subjective world. When that is known, both
worlds reveal themselves as partial expressions of the same indivisible
consciousness. The two supplement each other into the one fullness.

The education process teaches one that the cosmos is a manifestation
of the Lord’s sport and nothing else. The Upanishads declare this truth:
This world is the residence of the Lord. Therefore, no one can entertain
a sense of personal possession or even a trace of egoism. Renounce
the feeling of attachment; feel the presence of the Lord everywhere.
Welcome the bliss that the Lord as the embodiment of bliss confers on
