devotee. Having acquired it, they can realize reality, tomorrow, if not
today. They should put up with all the obstacles on the way and peace
will give them the strength needed. Through peace alone can devotion
expand and self-realization take root. Self-realization, born of peace,
is the only means of living a full life or life that knows no death; the inquiry:
"Who am I?" clears the path for realization. So, man must wait
patiently and quietly, placing his faith on the Grace and wisdom of the
Lord. Such an inquirer will always be earnest and penitent. Man becomes
fearless and therefore full of peace through the conviction that
the Lord is everywhere, visibly present. (3-11)
To earn peace, its inveterate enemy anger must be laid low. Anger is
the harvest of the tantalizing mind; it enslaves man and fogs his understanding.
Understanding becomes easy when you are full of devotion,
and your devotion is deep-rooted. (...)
Become the messengers of the Peace that has no beginning or end.
Hold forth the light of peace for humanity . Live an ideal life, ever contented,
ever joyous, and ever happy. (3-11/12)
Lustre in the face, splendour in the eye, a determined look, a noble
voice, large-hearted charity of feeling, unwavering goodness, these
are the sign-posts of a developing and progressing will. A mind without
agitation, a joyous and unblemished outlook, these are the marks of a
person in whom peace has taken root.
The devotee can pray for and ask from the Lord, the gift of such a
peace, and also the good character necessary for its growth. Why, the
devotee has this capacity for reaching his goals, this one thing, prayer.

So, in the midst of the crazy habits and behavior of today, it is no use
presenting the sacred texts in a language which most people are unfamiliar
with. They can be explained in easy understandable language.
The fundamentals of the sacred texts will not be affected by this. Then
they can be practiced, understood, experienced and enjoyed. As a
consequence, faith in the Veda will also be strengthened, and Peace
too will be built upon faith. So, every devotee must practice the important
direction of the Veda and demonstrate in his life the sweetness of
such dedicated lives, so that all others might appreciate the truth and
value of the ideals and the disciplines. (3-24)
