Recipes for General Menus
GUAVA DRINK
(Fruit Juice)
Ingredient Metric Standard Measure Method
Guava (raw) 720 g 1 ½ lb 3 cups
Water 1 L 32 oz 4 cups
Sugar 240g 8 oz 1 cup
Lime Juice 30 ml 1 oz 2 Tbsp
Water 1½ L 48 oz 6 cups
1. Scrub and wash guava under running water.
2. Trim ends and pare any blemish from guavas.
3. Cut guavas into thick slice ( ½ inch).
4. Blend in water and pour into a mixing bowl.
5. Add sugar, water and lime juice to mixing bowl and mix well
6. Strain mixture into a jug or pitcher.
7. Chill for at least 1 hour.
8. Hold and serve chilled.
