HOLLYWOOD — Only three weeks after<br />

the campaign was launched, the Permanent<br />

Charities committee has secured 15.590<br />

pledges for a total of $951,146.89. representing<br />

more than 70 per cent of its 1952 goal of<br />

$1,350,000. Such was reported by Dore Schary,<br />

Metro vice-president and chairman of the<br />

PCC's fund-raising drive.<br />
