Ozoner in Victoria, Tex.
VICTORIA, TEX.—The Aztec Drive-In,
twin theatre to the Tejas, has been opened
by Rubin Frels. The ozoner has 350 speakers
and is identical to the Tejas, which it abuts
on the west. Frels has named Mrs. Mary
Eubank manager of the theatre.
The proximity of the two-drive-ins will reflect
in the policy. Normally, the twins wOl
show different attractions, and schedules will
be staggered to allow easy access and egress,
but the new Aztec will be pressed into service
on special attractions to handle overflow
crowds that the Tejas will be unable to handle
alone. The Aztec has its own entrance and
exit drives, rest stations and concession. It
is on the Hallettsville highway.
