Appendix C-3
Interrelationship of Gas
Turbine Engine Parameters
The chart contains all the gas turbine engine parameter interrelationships
in a general matrix. These equation sets provide a
means of estimating steady state and transient variations in engine
performance parameters for any gas turbine under most conceivable
sets of input conditions. Solutions require only that sufficient parameters
are available to generate at least as many equations as there
are unknowns. This matrix was published in the book Gas Turbine
Engine Parameter Interrelationships, written by Louis A. Urban, and
published by Hamilton Standard Division in 1969.
