inauguration <strong>of</strong> Master Creations, 2011 on<br />

2nd December, 2011 at Dilli Haat, Opp.<br />

INA Market, New Delhi. The programme<br />

has already been started. The students<br />

are also being placed with the exporters<br />

and SHGs.<br />

BSM DURING HANDICRAFT WEEK<br />

8th DECEMBER, 2011.<br />

A Seminar was organized during Buyer<br />

Seller meet at Master Creations, 2011<br />

in Dilli Haat on 8th December, 2011.<br />

The purpose <strong>of</strong> the seminar was to<br />

create awareness among the exporters/<br />

manufacturers regarding design and<br />

product development and challenges in<br />

export marketing.<br />

COMMISSIONER (HANDICRAFTS)<br />

The project has been completed at 17<br />

locations. The HRD programmes at 37<br />

clusters across the country including<br />

NER are being successfully conducted.<br />

Target 7000 artisans for 350 programmes<br />

and 2100 artisans have been trained<br />

up to 23rd December, 2011. Training<br />

in 6 locations is going on where 2600<br />

artisans shall be benefited. Programme<br />

in 14 locations started in January, 2012<br />

to benefit 2300 artisans.<br />

INTEGRATED DESIGN & TECHNICAL<br />

DEVELOPMENT- NER<br />

The project has already been started in<br />

Agartala. The preliminary survey has<br />

been conducted for initiating the project.<br />

The projects in other three States at<br />

Guwahati, Shillong and Itanagar started<br />

on 16th December, 2011. The preliminary<br />

survey is being conducted at all three<br />

places.<br />
