= A Training programme <strong>of</strong> CAD &<br />
CAM Operation given to 05 local<br />
designers<br />
= Training programme on Product<br />
diversification was given to 10<br />
weavers from the SHG federations.<br />
= Total Sales & Orders generated Rs<br />
201.50 lakhs. Through Exhibition &<br />
BSM- Rs. 150.90 lakhs, Handloom<br />
House – 17.50 lakhs, CCIC – 2.30<br />
Lakh, Other buyers – 30.80 lakh.<br />
= Yarn Bank: Six Yarn Banks have been<br />
established. Rs. 50 yarn supplied to<br />
500 weavers. 10 cycles completed.<br />
= Total 93 designs developed and<br />
25 proto type products <strong>of</strong> home<br />
furnishing were also developed from<br />
Shantipuri newly developed fabrics.<br />
= Construction <strong>of</strong> CFC is under<br />
progress which will be completed by<br />
the end <strong>of</strong> April 2011 and Dye house<br />
is under progress.<br />
FINANCE OF THE COMMITTEE:<br />
The Committee generates internal<br />
revenue by way <strong>of</strong> user charges such<br />
as testing and certification charges<br />
consultation fees, etc. The details <strong>of</strong> the<br />
revenue receipts realized and anticipated<br />
during the year 2011 - 12 are given at<br />
table 13.6.<br />
<strong>Textiles</strong> Committee comes under the<br />
jurisdiction <strong>of</strong> the Central Vigilance<br />
Commission on all vigilance matters<br />
relating to the employees <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Committee. Therefore, a separate<br />
vigilance cell has been established in<br />
the Committee in the year 1981.<br />
ACTIVITIES<br />
The Vigilance Cell implements policy <strong>of</strong><br />
the government on all matters pertaining to<br />
the Vigilance including integrity, efficiency<br />
in public service and anti-corruption<br />
measures. It implements directions and<br />
orders issued by the CVC for eradication <strong>of</strong><br />
corruption from time to time. The Vigilance<br />
Cell continues to handle matters relating<br />
to conduct, discipline and anticorruption<br />
by initiating three pronged action plan<br />
i.e preventive vigilance, surveillance and<br />
punitive action.<br />
The Vigilance Cell has implemented<br />
the orders and instructions issued by<br />
the Government <strong>of</strong> India and also CVC.<br />
Complaints/grievances/suggestions box<br />
were installed in all the Regional Offices<br />
<strong>of</strong> the <strong>Textiles</strong> Committee and reports are<br />
received every month.<br />
The <strong>Textiles</strong> Committee has observed<br />
Vigilance Awareness Week at HQ and<br />
its Regional Offices from 31.10.2011 to<br />
05.11.2011<br />
