The qualitative research “Specific Needs of Children and Elderly Left Behind as a Consequence of Migration” was conducted in the framework of the project of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) “Supporting the implementation of the migration and development component of the EU – Moldova Mobility Partnership” funded by the EU within the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument, the project of the State University of Moldova (SUM) “Support to the National Action Plan on the protection of children left without parental care as a consequence of migration”, funded by the Czech Development Agency through Caritas Czech Republic and the UN Population Fund in Moldova (UNFPA). The analysis and findings of this report, interpretations and conclusions expressed in the publication are of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the funding agencies.
