DISTURBANCE RECORDERThe integral disturbance recorder has a memory space specifically dedicated for storage ofdisturbance records. The disturbance records that may be stored are 3, 5, 7 or 9 secondslength each. When the available memory space is exhausted, the new record automaticallyoverwrites the oldest record. The recorder stores actual samples that are taken at a rate of 32 samples per cycle. Each disturbance record consists of analogue and digital channels. (Note that the relevantCT ratios for the analogue channels are also extracted to enable scaling to primaryquantities). The total disturbance recording time is 5 records of 3 seconds, or 4 × 3s, or 3 × 5s, or 2 × 7sor 1 × 9s. The disturbance record starts with the disturbance. If the pre-time time is set to100ms, the record starts 100 ms before the disturbance.
