It is important to note that 16-bit and32-bit variations of Analog Inputs, Analog Output Control Blocks, and Analog OutputStatuses are transmitted through DNP as signed numbers. Even for analog input points thatare not valid as negative values, the maximum positive representation is 32767. For eachpoint, the “Scaling and Units” column indicates the value of a transmitted 32767. This alsoimplies the value of a transmitted –32767. The entry in the column does not imply a validvalue for the point.Always indicating the representation of 32767 in the tables below is a consistent method forrepresenting scale, applicable to all scaling possibilities.The “Default Deadband,” and the “Default Change Event Assigned Class” columns are usedto represent the absolute amount by which the point must change before an analog changeevent will be generated, and once generated in which class poll (1, 2, 3) will the changeevent be reported. Only the default values for these columns are documented here becausethe values may change in operation due to either local (user-interface) or remote (throughDNP) control.Every Analog Inputs points are included in class 0 polls, because they are included in one ofclasses 1, 2 or 3.Analog InputsStatic (Steady-State) Object Number: 30Change Event Object Number: 32Request Function Codes supported: 1 (read)Static Variation reported when variation 0 requested: 1 (32-Bit Analog Input)Change Event Variation reported when variation 0 requested: 1 (32-Bit Analog Change Event w/oTime)Change Event Scan Rate:P120PointIndexP121PointIndexP122PointIndexP123PointIndexThe scan rate for analog input change events is fixed at 1sName/DescriptionInitialValueScalingand Units(representation of32767 –see above)ValidRangeChangeEventDeadbandInitialChangeEventClass (1,2, 3 ornone)0 0 Active Group 1 32767 1 à 2 1 10 1 1 Magnitude IA 0 40 In 0 to 40 In 0.02 In 31 2 2 Magnitude IB 0 40 In 0 to 40 In 0.02 In 32 3 3 Magnitude IC 0 40 In 0 to 40 In 0.02 In 30 3 4 4 Magnitude IN 0 40 IEn 0 to 40 IEn 0.02 IEn 34 5 5 rms IA 0A 327.67A 0 to3400000001/100 A2%5 6 6 rms IB 0A 327.67A 0 to3400000001/100 A2%6 7 7 rms IC 0A 327.67A 0 to3400000001/100 A2%1 7 8 8 rms IN 0A 327.67A 0 to3400000001/100 A2%9 9 Thermal State 0% 32767% 0 to 65535 10 32 10 10 Frequency 0 327,67 Hz 45Hz to 1Hz 365 Hz and99.99Hz ==ERROR11 11 Magnitude I2 0 40 In 0 to 40 In 0.1 In 312 12 Magnitude I1 0 40 In 0 to 40 In 0.1 In 313 13 Tripping Time 0 327.67s 0 to 10.00s 1/100 s 314 14 Closing Time 0 327.67s 0 to 10.00s 1/100 s 33 15 15 Fault number 0 32767 0 to 65535 1 24 16 16 group 0 32767 1 to 2 each new 2fault5 17 17 Fault phase 0 32767 0 to 8 (F1) each newfault2
