Lucy’s #235: Next you state that, ―It is their sexual orientation that [homosexuals]
choose.‖ … My dear friend, I truly adore this argument, if for no other reason than even the most
simple-minded of readers can immediately comprehend how ridiculous it is … Please tell me
Lucy: since all gay people (at least according to you & yours) were born straight and then later
chose to become attracted to members of their own
gender – somehow chose to change the gender they
now find to be sexually attractive, why cannot I do
the same? … I couldn‘t any more choose to become
sexually aroused by a naked man‘s body than I could
an elephant‘s, just as I assume that you would find it
very difficult (if not impossible) to suddenly find
women sexually attractive as well … So to be fair, if
you are going to argue that homosexual men can
choose to be aroused by other men (even though they
are born straight), then that means that you could
choose to be aroused by other women … Hmmm …
Can you, my Friend? … Really? Is that the case?
Are you going to tell me that you have the ability to
be sexually excited by women, but that you simply
choose not to go there because it would otherwise be
immoral? Surely not! Just like me, you were born
straight, Lucy, and thus just like me, you are sexually
attracted to members of the oppposte sex … Well,
I‘ve got news for you, my Friend: just like you & I
were simply born straight, the vast majority of gay
people were simply born gay (see pages 78-80 &/or
110-115 for massive ―proofs‖ thereof) … So maybe it‘s
finally time for you to simply get over it!
P.S. And -- since gay folks are indeed born gay (otherwise they could not consummate
sexual acts with other gay people, and only thereby commit the ―horrible‖ sin of which you and the
handful of verses from your Bible are accusing them), it is completely unjust to mandate that they
deny a natural impulse that you & yours are allowed to fulfill … And – since most gays are
indeed born gay (as science is now clearly showing), then your God has no
business whatsoever in punishing them (or even allowing them to suffer for one
instant) for enlivening the inclinations that He instilled in them in the first place!
