Daniel #214: Penultimately you say, ―Thank you Jesus, for knocking on the door in the
hope that we will open that door and receive all of your truths‖ … Yes, my Friend! Jesus is
knocking on your door – indeed, he is doing so in this very thread. So I am wondering – since
you clearly know that he is knocking, and since I have shown you the doorway of humility & nonjudgmental
Peace upon which he is gently rapping within you, why won‘t you answer his Call?
―Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for
you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks,
the door will be opened‖ ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:7-8)
―Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to
destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life,
and there are few who find it … Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will try to
enter and will not [prove] able‖ ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:13-14 + Luke 13:24)
―Very truly, I tell you, anyone who does not enter the sheepfold by the gate but climbs in by
another way is a thief and a bandit. The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The
gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and
leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him
because they know his voice. They will not follow a stranger, but they will run from him because they do
not know the voice of strangers … Very truly, I tell you: I am the gate for the sheep. All who came
before me are thieves and bandits; but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate. Whoever enters by
my way will be saved, and will come in and go forth and find pasture.‖ ~ Jesus Christ (John 10:1-9)
