Lucy #537: You then begin to close by quoting 1 John 3:8b, ―The Son of God appeared
for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.‖
Indeed, my dear … in-Deed! For this verse speaks a powerful Truth; namely, that the
Son of God, who was enlivened by Jesus Christ during his ministry – and who lives within us all
to this very day (see John 14:20), has indeed come to ―destroy the works of the devil‖. And what
are those works? Those works are aggression – and those works are discrimination – and those
works are hatred – and those works are intolerance – and those works are anger – and those
works are bigotry!!! (Again – any of that sound familiar? )
So, my dear friend, I ask you once more: Why are you then choosing to reject the Word
& the Way of Christ in regards to your treatment of homosexuals – and thus why
are you choosing to (inadvertently, yet undeniably) assist the work of Satan thereby?!?
―Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep‘s clothing but inwardly are
ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs
from thistles? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit … Thus you will know
them by their fruits … Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if
his ministers also disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness. Their end will match their
