Daniel #128: Then you befuddle me a bit by stating, ―As Christians, we are never to
judge someone‘s eternal destination. No one has done that on this thread that I know of.‖
Dan, it must be clear to almost everyone else reading along that you & yours have indeed
openly stated (many times, in fact) that the final stop for all non-repentant homosexuals will be an
eternity of torment in Hell – and it simply must be clear to those same people that such a claim
most certainly is a judgment poured upon their eternal destination … So your statement here had
me a little confused at first. But then I realized that you joined this thread at almost exactly the
same time that Lucy started doing most of her ―Hell-bashing‖ of gays, so it is possible that you
simply might have not read the same … Indeed, at one point earlier in this very thread Lucy
listed every single verse in the Bible where Jesus mentions ―Hell‖ (actually the Greek word
Gehenna, the name of an actual burning garbage dump located just outside the walls of Jerusalem in
Jesus‘ day). This was a pretty impressive feat indeed, one that inspired me to then discuss, clarify
and illuminate each & every one of those references immediately thereafter.*
[*For those of you interested in delving into this topic in more depth, simply turn back to pages 270-295
herein, where I offer 62 independent replies to Lucy‘s claims about Jesus & Hell; replies that
specifically discuss every single reference Jesus makes to ―Hell‖ in the entire New Testament!]
Otherwise, Dan, it is enough for me to respond to your comment by quoting a few of
Lucy‘s personal damnation-pronouncing statements from earlier sections of this thread …
Please consider …
°that on June 27th @ 2:04pm, Lucy said, ―Who loves the homosexual more -- One who
tells them it's okay to continue in a sin the Bible warns will condemn them to an eternity in
Hell … or someone who is willing to endure the anger, ridicule, and hate to warn them?‖
… and,
°that on July 2 nd @ 2:02pm, Lucy said, ―There is a place for the unsaved and you can't
stand that this is what Jesus tells us … Jesus taught of Hell. Though every New Testament
author acknowledges the doctrine of Hell, Jesus has the most to say about it … God built
the prison of Hell, and there are no doors or windows -- and there is no key. There are no
escape routes, and no one is powerful enough to rescue anyone out of His hand.‖
There have been other, similarly condemnatory anti-gay statements sprinkled throughout
this thread, of course, and yet I think these two are enough for you to see that the basic theology
of you & yours quite clearly does condemn homosexuals to an eternity of torment, and that
you & yours quite clearly have been affirming that stance throughout this thread!
P.S. A question for clarification: Do you, Dan, personally believe that homosexuals who
choose to honor their natural homosexual state will be punished for eternity for making that
choice? And if so, do you willingly adore & actively worship the God that will allow such a
barbaric travesty to take place?
―Beware that no one leads you astray … Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep‘s
clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from
thorns, or figs from thistles? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad
fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit … Thus you will know them by
their fruits.‖ ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:4 + Matthew 7:15-20)
