Burnishing Bigotry - 3rd edition

Lucy #352: Finally, you state that, ―Speaking the word of God does not make me a
bigot or a hypocrite!‖ … Well, my Friend, as I have pointed out to you so many times before,
this statement is true – unless you choose to speak the bigoted words of God, and/or unless you
choose to profess a hypocritical interpretation of the Bible. In essence, if you are going to be a
―literal‖ believer in the Bible – and you want to avoid bigotry & hypocrisy in your worship, then
your literalism needs to start and end with the words of Jesus Christ!
Again, please consider the words of your own Lord & Savior …
―Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also DO the works that I do --
and, in fact, will do even greater works than these … And on that day you will know that I am in
my Father, and that you are in me, and that I am in you.‖ ~ Jesus Christ (John 14:12 & 14:20)
―Do not judge, so that you may not be judged … Why do you see the speck in your
neighbor‘s eye, but do not notice the log in your own? ... You hypocrite! First take the log out of
your own eye, and then you will see clearly enough to remove the speck from your neighbor‘s ...
Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the
Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this young child is the greatest in the
