Burnishing Bigotry - 3rd edition

Daniel #154: Next, you state that, ―Jesus is asking us to use careful consideration to
what is righteous, and to believe accordingly.‖ … YES, my Friend – he most certainly is at that!
And so the question must now be posed: Just what is ―righteous‖ to you, Dan?
*Is bigotry righteous – or even worshiping a bigoted God?
*Is discrimination righteous – or even worshiping a God who discriminates and gives
His Grace to only the few?
*How about callousness, my Friend? Is hard-heartedness righteous – or even worshiping
a God whose own heart is obviously hardened against all unrepentant ―mortal sinners‖?
*Is arrogance righteous – the raw pride that is required to believe the you & yours have
not only the only correct interpretation of the Scriptures, but also the right to publicly call out &
condemn the sins of others that contradict those personal beliefs?
*And how about hypocrisy, Dan? Is hypocrisy righteous – you & yours judging the sins
of others while so obviously sinning yourselves?
Of course not! NONE of these sins are righteous, my Friend, and yet all of them
are being committed by you & yours each time you treat homosexuals the way Leviticus
& Paul would have you treat them, instead of the way Jesus Christ would!
So please, my dear Friend -- for the Love of God (literally), consider choosing The Way
of Christ in your dealings with those of alternative gender & those of different sexual inclination
… And once you do so, please consider acting accordingly?
Amen … Let it be so!
